Qatar intends to import Tajik honey, meat and drinking water

AKIPRESS.COM - Qatar intends to organize import of honey, meat and drinking water from Tajikistan. Al Sulaiteen Group of Industrial and Agricultural Companies will be engaged in delivering Tajik honey, meat and drinking water to Qatar, Asia-Plus reports.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, Tajikistan's Ambassador to Qatar Khisrav Sohibzoda on July 16 met in Doha with Abdullah Salem Al Sulaiteen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sulaiteen Group.
In the courses of the talks, they reportedly discussed the results of visit of the Al Sulaiteen Group's delegation to Tajikistan that took place on July 8-12 this year.
Taking into account Tajikistan's enormous potential, the Qatar side expressed interest in importing honey, meat and drinking water from Tajikistan and the Al-Sulaiteen Group intends to implement joint investment projects in these areas, the Tajik MFA information department said.
The two sides reportedly also exchanged views on ways and mechanisms of establishing the mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing joint projects discussed in Dushanbe.
