Bishkek, July 19, 2019 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Lee Nak-yon paid an official visit to Kyrgyzstan on July 17 - 19, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
Within the framework of the official visit, several events took place, including two Kyrgyz-Korean business forums with the participation of more than 50 Korean companies, meetings in the B2B format and a number of bilateral meetings.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues of further development of cooperation in trade, agriculture, health care, the mining industry, tourism, energy, transport, textile industry, information technologies, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
Also the prime minister of the Republic of Korea was received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
Following the official visit, a number of bilateral documents were signed.
