AKIPRESS.COM - Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jenish Razakov upon arrival in Batken region today got acquainted with the situation around the incident of Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict, the press service of the government reported. Then Razakov held an emergency meeting with representatives of security forces and local authorities.
The Vice PM also met with 315 residents of the village of Aksai, who were temporarily resettled to to the vocational lyceum and madrasa in Batken town after the conflict. Razakov checked the condition of their stay there.
After the meetings, Razakov ordered the relevant authorities to strengthen work on ensuring security, public order on the territory of Batken region and border areas. Among instructions is providing food products and other necessary things to those temporarily resettled from Aksai village.
