Bishkek, July 24, 2019. /Kabar/. The State Service of the Intellectual Property and Innovations (Kyrgyz Patent) announces a competition for the best innovative start-up project, Chairwoman Dinara Moldosheva told at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
"The competition, which will be announced on August 1, is held jointly with partners from Estonia and Russia's Skolkovo Innovation Center. We want to support the best innovative ideas. The prize fund is up to KGS 500 thousand ($7,176). We will also teach how to promote and commercialize projects," she said.
Joodar Jumabayev, the Director of the State patent and technical library of the Kyrgyz Patent said that today, libraries in Kyrgyzstan have about 2.5 million paper books, documents, patents and about 22 thousand other documents in electronic media and as of this year, it is planned to change the activities of libraries.
"Within the framework of regional development and digitalization, the work on transition to digital format has been started for the first time. We opened a digital library. Also, by the end of 2019, we are switching to full electronic library services. We have implemented the program, as a result of which all processes will be in electronic format," he said.
"Now citizens can register on the site, get an electronic library ticket, their password, after which they will have access to the database. Sitting at home, citizens can find out if there is a book, and order home delivery. An accessible and convenient form of work has been developed," the director added.
