Border service of Kyrgyzstan to work in robust security regime until situation on border gets stable

AKIPRESS.COM - Military officers of the border service of Kyrgyzstan will carry out their duty in a robust security regime until the situation on Kyrgyz-Tajik border becomes stable, Chairman of the State Border Service Ularbek Sharsheyev reported in Batken today. According to him, the law enforcement bodies are ensuring public security in a conflict zone and protecting state border. In addition, negotiations are being held with the Tajik side on regulation of the border conflict.
Batken regional governor Akram Madumarov defined the situation on border as calm but with some tension.
