Bishkek, July 25, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Customs Development Strategy for 2019-2023 and the Action Plan for its implementation are approved, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev signed the relevant decree.
The press service of the Government said that, the document defines the key conditions and priorities for the improvement of the customs service in the medium term, taking into account the trends in the development of the customs service, such as the automation (digitalization) of customs processes, the application of risk management in decision-making by customs authorities to accelerate and simplify customs operations, thereby creating favorable conditions for participants in foreign economic activity, including the development of the transit potential of the country.
Digitalization of customs processes will also reduce corruption risks.
Implementation of the set tasks is aimed at achieving the goal of the Strategy - sustainable and efficient functioning, providing for creating a digital customs office with a developed customs infrastructure to ensure effective administration of customs duties and transparency of customs operations.
