Lemon tree nursery, production of rubber footwear and plastic pipes to be opened in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 29, 2019. /Kabar/. Production of rubber footwear, plastic pipes and lemon tree nursery will soon opened in Kyrgyzstan, Malik-Aidar Abakirov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Guarantee Fund OJSC told at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
Opening production of plastic pipes for the Taza-Suu project is also planned soon. "In Kyrgyzstan, more than 100 villages are left without clean drinking water. Domestically produced pipes will now be purchased for the Taza-Suu project. In addition, the first lemon tree nursery was opened in Jalal-Abad Oblast. Previously, lemons from Tajikistan were exported, but now it will be possible to buy domestic lemons," Abakirov said.
According to his data, Kyrgyzstan’s garment industry and stone processing in Osh and Jalal-Abad Oblasts are well developing now.
The chairman also said that he would soon start working as an operator of the project, financed by the World Bank. "We are the operators of the dairy financing project in the Issyk-Kul Oblast. We have the right to issue guarantees of $2 million to farmers who produce milk," he concluded.
