9yo boy in shock in Issyk-Kul after being circumcised in mosque

AKIPRESS.COM - A 9-year-old boy in Jeti-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region was delivered to home in shock after he had been circumcised in a mosque, Turmush reported. The circumcision was performed in Ak-Dobo village in the morning of July 26 in one of the local mosques.
Mother of the boy took her shocked boy to the hospital. The child was badly crying. According to a chief doctor of the district hospital Kanat Jumadylov, the boy was shocked.
"There is such a thing as antisepsis and asepsis that were not respected. The boy underwent anesthesia, he had the genital's wound re-stitched, cleaned. After having received the necessary medical aid, the boy went home," the doctor said.
Jumadylov also noted that the hospital decided to address local authorities on prevention of such kinds of circumcision procedures in the mosques.
"Circumcision procedures are performed in the mosques everyday. They don't have the necessary tools, they do not perform cleaning in ncompliance with the medical norms. A child can get any infection. The most dangerous one is hepatitus. The mosques should be banned to perform circumcisions," he said.
