AKIPRESS.COM - Trade turnover of Kazakhstan with the Eurasian Economic Union countries in January-May of 2019 decreased by 4.8% amounting to $23.2 billion, LS reported. Export of Kazakhstan to Russia during the reported period stood at $2.1 billion, which is 2.4% less than in the same period of 2018.
The country's export to Kyrgyzstan in these months decreased by 16.6% up to $217.5 million, to Belarus - by 14.7% up to $39.1 million, to Armenia - by 26.7% up to $2.7 million.
Kyrgyzstan was the only country in the EAEU, which increased its export to Kazakhstan. Within 5 months, the country supplied goods to Kazakhstan for $126.8 million, which is 13.5% more than in 2018.
Othe member states, on the contrary, reduced export to Kazakhstan. Russia decreased its export by 4.6% to more than $5 billion, Belarus - by 4.2% up to $290.2 million, Armenia - by almost 41% up to $1.9 million.
