AKIPRESS.COM - Belarus and Uzbekistan signed 26 agreements between the regions and more than 20 commercial deals at the Forum of the Regions. A package of interregional agreements on cooperation in trade, scientific and humanitarian spheres was signed, CA-News reports. The Forum will be concluded with the meeting of the Presidents of two countries that will be held as part of the official visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev set for July 31-August 1.
The bilateral trade has grown almost 2.5 times, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Mikhail Yevdochenko said.
The trade has grown by 15% during the last 5 months.
The current bilateral trade amounts $157 million. The countries set to boost it to half a billion US dollars.
