Kazakhstan plans to merge taxes for property and land from 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan wants to cancel land tax for owners of apartments and unite taxes for property and land for individuals to a single tax within the amendments to some laws of the country, the press service of the Ministry said. Authors of the amendments noted that the main purpose of the proposal is simplification of tax payments for property and land for individuals.
The initiators of the bill offer to merge the taxes for property and land for individuals without changing elements of tax assessment.
The two taxes will be paid by a single payment. Tariffs will be the same. Today these two various taxes create inconveniences for tax payers.
The document now is undergoing the approval procedure in state bodies. Introduction to the Parliament is scheduled for this autumn.
