Lukashenko, Mirziyoyev hold informal meeting outside Minsk

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held an informal meeting in the Zaslavl State Residence outside Minsk on July 31, BelTA reports. President Mirziyoyev arrived in Belarus on official visit at the invitation of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The heads of state took a stroll on the territory of the residence and exchanged gifts. Lukashenko presented the panel picture Belarus and embroidery. Lukashenko's son Nikolay presented the European bison statuette. President Mirziyoyev presented the the hockey player statue in return.
The President held informal talks in the pergola with wooden carving presented by President Mirziyoyev to President Lukashenko las year during his official visit to Uzbekistan.
The official talks will be held today in the Independence Palace. The sides will consider prospects of joint projects in machine building, light industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, transport sector, IT.
