Presidents of Belarus, Uzbekistan hold talks in Minsk

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev are holding talks in the Independence Palace in Minsk, BelTA reports. The official welcoming ceremony was held in the internal compound of the Independence Palace in honor of the President of Uzbekistan.
The talks are held in restricted attendance and at the level of delegations.
The Presidents will consider prospects of joint projects in machine building, light industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, transport, IT sector. A special attention will be paid to establishment of cooperation between the regions of two countries, enhancement of production cooperation, facilitation of bilateral trade.
The leaders of Belarus and Uzbekistan will discuss political situation, regional and international issues.
Several documents will be signed following the talks.
