Special forces soldier wounded during attempt to detain Atambayev dies

A wounded special forces officer died in a hospital. The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the ministry, the serviceman was delivered in an extremely serious condition with a gunshot wound to the Bishkek Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics.
"He was urgently taken for surgery. Despite resuscitation measures, he died," the Ministry of Health reported.
