Crisis in Bishkek: Meeting of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to be held

Meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, scheduled for tomorrow in Cholpon-Ata, will take place. Press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan confirmed the information.
"All events will take place according to plan, the arrival schedules of the heads of delegations have not changed. It is expected that they will arrive, as planned, in Cholpon-Ata today. The main events of the summit will be held tomorrow," the Cabinet informed.
According to the plan, the Prime Ministers of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union will begin to arrive in Issyk-Kul region today.
The anniversary meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of the Heads of Government of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held on August 9, 2019 in Cholpon-Ata town, Issyk-Kul region. The agenda includes 15 issues, including cross-border cooperation, joint forecasts for development of the agro-industrial complex, regulation of the alcohol market, distribution of import customs duties between the budgets of EEU member states in 2018.
