Omurbek Babanov to return to Bishkek today

Ex-leader of Respublika-Ata Jurt faction Omurbek Babanov will return to Bishkek today. According to his representative, the politician is already at Sheremetyevo Airport.
"He has already passed passport control and is awaiting boarding," he said.
The plane will land at Manas Airport at 14.40. The politician will arrive on Aeroflot flight.
Recall, this is the second attempt by Omurbek Babanov to return to Kyrgyzstan. He has already attempted to return in April 2019. His supporters were preparing to meet him, but Babanov changed his plans at the last moment and stayed in Moscow.
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reminded that Omurbek Babanov is a defendant in two criminal cases - on the fact of his speech in Amir-Timur microdistrict in Osh city, where he expressed unreasonable, provocative in meaning words, and preparations for a violent seizure of power and riots, which were prevented.
