SDPK political council member Farid Niyazov will be held in remand prison until Oct. 8

AKIPRESS.COM - Farid Niyzov, member of the SDPK political council, will be held in custody in the Bishkek remand prison No. 1 until October 8 according to the ruling of the Pervomaiskiy district court. He is accused of hostage taking and organization of mass disorders.
The court also ordered to hold in custody other Atambayev's allies - Alga Kylychov, Amantur Jamgyrchiev, Kyias Smailov - until October 8 on charges with hostage taking and organization of mass disorders.
On August 7, the special task force of the national security agency attempted to storm the residence of former President Almazbek Atambayev in Koi-Tash. The special task force was supposed to bring Almazbek Atambayev for questioning to the Interior Ministry. As a result of clashes between the special task force and Atambayev's supporters, 6 officers were held. They were released the next day.
