AKIPRESS.COM - Condition of Chui region police chief Samat Kurmankulov has stabilized. He will be transport to the Burdenko Neurosurgery Center in Moscow for further treatment, the Ministry of Health said. He is connected to artificial ventilation. His condition allows transportation.
The online consilium was held with neurosurgeons of the Burdenko Neurosurgery Center on August 11. The specialists agreed the surgery is not required, intensive therapy should be continued. The decision was made to transport Samat Kurmankulov to the Burdenko Neurosurgery Center for further treatment.
Kurmankulov received brain injuries on August 7 in Koi-Tash during the attempt to storm ex-President Atambayev's residence. He underwent 2 surgeries and remained in coma.
