Kazakhstan plans to increase poultry meat production by 4 times

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan plans to increase poultry meat production up to more than 700,000 tons by 2027, the Ministry of Agriculture reported. As part of the poultry meat development program for 2018-2027, the volume of poultry meat will grow from 180,000 to 740,000 ton, eating eggs - from 5 billion to 7.5 billion pieaces.
The Ministry said 17 enterprises will be built in the country. A new meat processing plant has been launched in Almaty region this year.
One more plant will be launched in Nur-Sultan in 2019.
