Uzbekistan-Tajikistan-China rally starts from Termez

AKIPRESS.COM - The Uzbekistan-Tajikistan-China rally has started on August 10 from Termez, Surhandarya region, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan said. The rally is aimed to demonstrate the potential of direct transportation of cargoes from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to China.
The route of the rally will run from Termez to Dushanbe and will end in Kashgar. Two trucks from each country are participating. Six trucks loaded at the Termez Cargo Center will run through Dushanbe, Vahdat, Kulob, Kalai Khumb, Khorv, Kulma of Tajikistan and will reach Kashgar. The distance will make 1,422 km.
The project is believed to enhance cooperation of the countries in international cargo transportation and will strengthen trade and economic ties.
