AKIPRESS.COM - 120 properties of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev were arrested, Attorney General Otkurbek Jamshitov told reporters on Tuesday.
Jamshitov is giving a press conference on the events of August 7-8 in Koi-Tash village and criminal cases launched afterwards.
He also noted that MPs Iryna Karamushkina, Asel Koduranova, journalist Dmitriy Lojikov and representative of the SDPK Kunduz Joldubayeva are being interrogated with authorities as witnesses.
"They saw all the events of August 7-8. We question them not as journalists, not for criticism, but for what they saw," Jamshitov said.
Atambayev was detained by police on August 8 and charged with corruption after second storming of his house in Koi-Tash. The first storming by SWAT soldiers on August 7 left dozens injured and 1 law enforcement officer dead.
