Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2019. / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev met with the authorized person for the protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of business entities (Business Ombudsman) of the Kyrgyz Republic Robin Ord-Smith, the press service of the government reported.
The Head of Government congratulated Robin-Ord-Smith on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in achieving the goals.
According to him, the candidacy of Robin Ord-Smith as a Business Ombudsman, a former UK ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, with extensive experience in other senior positions, is a positive signal for the business community and foreign investors.
Abylgaziev expressed confidence that in the position of Business Ombudsman Robin Ord-Smith will make a great contribution to the development of entrepreneurship and improving the business environment.
The prime minister noted the importance of the speedy preparation of a high-quality and comprehensive bill "On the Business Ombudsman" to increase the efficiency and strengthen the activities of this organization.
During the meeting, Abylgaziev expressed his gratitude to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development represented by Director for Central Asia Neil McCain for the support and assistance in creating the Institute of Business Ombudsman.
Business Ombudsman Robin Ord-Smith expressed gratitude for the congratulations, for the trust placed by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the conversation, topical issues of the future activities of the Institute of Business Ombudsman, prospects for partnership and interaction were discussed.
