7 employees fired after torture in prison of Zarechnoe village - Kazakh Interior Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - Seven employees were sacked after committing torture in the penitentiary institution of Zarechnoe village of Almaty region, the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan reported.
A special commission on investigation of this case continues working by the order of the Minister of Interior Erlan Turgumbayev.
"After internal investigation about 14 officials of the prison were punished after a video containing torture of the prisoners went viral on socoal media. Seven employees were taken into custody. Some measures are still being taken on elimination of such factors in the penitentiary institution," Turgumbayev noted.
The Minister told about the process of internal investigation.
