Avalanche-affected woman from Russia evacuated in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Resquers in East Kazakhstan region on August 15 evacuated the citizen of Russia, who received traumas in avalanche while she was climbing the Belukha mountains, the press service of the regional department of the emergency situations reported. "A group of alpinists from Russia was climbing the Belukha mountain. After a spontaneous avalanche, one of the participants of the group - the 63-year-old resident of Tyumen city - was hit by snow. The woman survived, however, she received various traumas and injuries," the statement says.
The woman's hand was broken. A helicopter with a group of resquers and medical workers came for help.
She was transported to the hospital in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
