President Tokayev taking part in August conference of teachers

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is attending the plenary session of teachers' August conference, which is taking place in the Independence Palace of Nur-Sultan, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports. The conference under a motto "Knowledge and Science" brought together more than two thousand teachers across the country.
The head of state this July at the extended session of the government had ordered to complete the work on a bill on status of a teacher until the end of this year. Then he said that the teachers should feel the benefit of the law.
The President also tasked to eliminate a 3-shift education, build new schools and gradually transfer into a 3-language education.
