President Jeenbekov’s two-day working trip to Naryn Oblast-photo report

Bishkek, Aug.23, 2019. /Kabar/. On Aug. 21-22 President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited Naryn Oblast for two-day working trip.
The Kyrgyz leader met with residents of Ak-Talaa region and told them about the state policy of regional development, activities of financial institutions in support of agriculture and regions, attraction of local investments, clean water and irrigation projects, construction of roads, implementation of judicial and legal reforms, measures to combat corruption, digitalization of the country, etc.
At the meeting with the President, Ak-Talaa region residents raised the issues of lack of irrigation water, land plots for housing construction, benefits for residents of high mountainous areas, construction and reconstruction of roads, social facilities, job creation, etc.
The heads of relevant ministries and departments of the country answered the questions of the villagers together with the President.
Jeenbekov answered all the questions of the local residents in detail and assured them that all the written questions, received during the meeting, would also be taken into account. The meeting with the locals lasted more than four hours.
As part of the trip to Naryn Oblast, President Jeenbekov visited the Sut azyk CJSC dairy processing plant, familiarized with the implementation of the project on provision of clean water to Naryn town and rehabilitation of sewerage systems, as well as with the Ak-Talaa region’s irrigation projects, which will provide access to irrigation water to more than 4000 hectares of land and improve the reclamation capacity of the existing irrigated areas.
The head of state also got acquainted with the reconstruction of internal roads and construction of the school in Ak-Talaa region.
