Economy minister, Russian ambassador discuss bilateral co-op issues

Bishkek, Aug.27, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Economy Minister Sanjar Mukanbetov met with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, noted the existing potential for development and strengthening of bilateral trade and investment relations, the Kyrgyz Economy Ministry’s press service said.
In addition, the parties stressed the interest in further developing and expanding cooperation between the regions of the two countries.
Also, the sides agreed to hold the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Moscow Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in the framework of the Days of Moscow in Bishkek (Sep. 11-14, 2019). The meeting of the Commission is scheduled for Sep. 12 this year.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet in a friendly atmosphere and discuss further fruitful cooperation.
