China terminates work of its Consulate General in Osh

AKIPRESS.COM - The Chinese side is temporarily suspending operation of the Chinese Consulate General in the city of Osh from August 28, 2019, Ambassador of China in Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen said during the meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Abdrahmanov. According to the diplomat, the work is terminated within the works on optimization of activities of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of China abroad.
The Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said that the consular services during this period will be provided by Ambassador of China in Bishkek.
