Former PM Sapar Isakov is returned to pre-trial detention center after treatment

Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2019. / Kabar /. The accused former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov was returned to the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security, his lawyer Nurbek Toktakunov told.
He said that the health condition of Sapar Isakov remains grave.
Sapar Isakov was hospitalized in the Neurology Department No. 2 of the National Hospital on Aug. 16, 2019 with a clinical diagnosis: Insufficiency syndrome in the vertebro-basilar arterial system (pinching of the neck vessels, which leads to dizziness, headaches), osteochondrosis of the cervical spine the spine.
Previously, he was in the pre-trial detention center.
Sapar Isakov is accused of corruption in the case of the modernization of Bishkek thermal plant. He is also among those who are accused of the joint case of the reconstruction of the State Historical Museum and the construction of the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata.
