Former Vice PM Zilaliyev to be held in custody until Nov. 30

AKIPRESS.COM - The Pervomaiskiy district court on August 28 extended the pre-trial investigation period and custodial measure for former Vice Prime Minister and ex-Director of the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources Duishenbek Zilaliyev.
Zilaliyev will be held in custody until November 30, 2019.
On December 7, 2018, Zilaliyev was detained by the National Security Committee on suspicion of hiding a part of his property from his mandatory income declaration. The Committee also showed how it disclosed a bank cell of Zilaliyev where he kept $889,900 cash. Zilaliyev is probed for illegal wealth.
