AKIPRESS.COM - The First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed assistance to countries in elimination of the nuclear test facilities, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports. "The Nuclear Club members should undertake obligations and restrictions in favor of correction of their policies in the sphere of weapon of mass destruction. First of all, what is important is here is that they cut down the traditional practice of supporting modernization of nuclear complexes," he said speaking at the "Nazarbayev Prize for Nuclear Weapon Free World amd Global Security" ceremony in Nur-Sultan.
According to him, Kazakhstan has some experience in elimination of test facilities.

The Chairman of the Security Council of Kazakhstan also underlined the progress achieved over the last 20 years in universalization of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and control over its execution with the help of international monitoring system.
