Court releases ex MP Tekebaev under house arrest

Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2019. / Kabar /. Pervomaisky district court of Bishkek changed the preventive measure of ex-member of the Parliament Omurbek Tekebaev and ex-ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to South Korea Duishonkul Chotonov to house arrest.
Omurbek Tekebaev and Duishenkul Chotonov were detained in February 2017 on suspicion of receiving USD 1 million of bribe in 2010 from Russian citizen Leonid Maevsky for assistance in purchasing shares in MegaCom mobile operator.
