President Tokayev meets with Executive Secretary of Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Augist 29 received Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization Lassina Zerbo, the press service of the President said. The sides during the talks discussed cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Organization, including in the framework of the further promotion of international initiatives of Nursultan Nazarbayev on strengthening global security.
The head of state congratulated Lassina Zerbo on award of Nazarbayev prize for peace without nuclear weapon and global security and noted his contribution to nuclear disarmament work.
Lassina Zerbo thanked the President for support of activities of the Organization and expressed hope that the joint efforts will help achieve the goals on establishment of peace without nuclear weapon.
