Kyrgyz PM holds meeting on selection of investment business projects

Bishkek, Aug.30, 2019. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev held a meeting to discuss selected investment business projects, infrastructure projects and development programs by the Tender Commission under the Government.
The prime minister noted the need for the effective use of funds in the amount of KGS 2 billion, provided for in the republican budget for 2019 to develop regions, the press service of the Government reported.
"We must make efforts to create the most favorable conditions for the development of the regions and support entrepreneurial activity," he said.
Investment Promotion and Protection Agency Director Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu spoke about the work carried out by the Tender Commission to select business projects for further financing.
Of the 137 projects received, 4 were selected: a red and grey granite processing plant in Talas Oblast, an organic dried apricot production plant in Batken Oblast, an Internet provider, a metallurgical silicon production plant in Jalal-Abad Oblast.
PM Abylgaziev instructed to conduct a qualitative study of these business proposals.
