Dariga Nazarbayeva re-appointed as Speaker of Kazakhstan’s Senate

AKIPRESS.COM - Dariga Nazarbayeva has been re-appointed as Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan, Zakon.kz reports. The election was held today at the joint session of the Parliament.
Nazarbayeva was first elected as Speaker of the Senate in March 2019. She was re-appointed as member of the Parliament on August 12. In this regard, a new voting had to be held for the post of Speaker.
