Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day celebrated at Seoul Friendship Festival in Korea

Bishkek, Sept.2, 2019 /Kabar/. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Korea on Aug. 31 and Sept, 1, 2019 took an active part in the international Seoul Friendship Festival 2019, organized by the Seoul City Hall.
The Kyrgyz Embassy together with Kyrgyz activists took part in the celebration of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan and established a Kyrgyz yurt in the central square of Seoul.
A number of events were held to present Kyrgyzstan and promote Kyrgyz culture.
In the yurt, citizens of South Korea and other countries were offered to taste Kyrgyz national treats, honey and jam from Kyrgyzstan. In addition to the yurt, an exhibition of souvenirs, organic products, national beverages and dishes was organized.
Dance and musical performances were presented to residents and guests of Seoul, as well as excerpts from the Manas famous Kyrgyz epic.
On Aug.31, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Korea gathered the compatriots for a festive dinner in the yurt, where Kyrgyz Ambassador Dinara Kemelova delivered a congratulatory speech.
