Shirin Aitmanova says arrested former presidential adviser Ikramjan Ilmiyanov sleeps at his own home

AKIPRESS.COM - Former lawmaker Shirin Aitmanova tweeted that arrested former adviser of president Ikramjan Ilmiyanov sleeps at his own home.
However, the National Security Committee denied the statement and said that the daughter of famous writer Aitmatova is spreading false information.
Ilmiyanov is in the GKNB pre-trial detention facility, the statement said.
Ilmiyanov was arrested on suspicion of fraud on Oct 20, 2018.
In February, Secretary of the Security Council commented on criminal probe against ex-Deputy Chairman of the President's Office Ikramjan Ilmiyanov saying "investigation found that leadership of one of the firms handed over a bribe of $150,000 in exchange for termination of criminal case against that firm and cancelling the arrest of cargo trucks, which were later taken out of the country."
