Bishkek, Sept.5, 2019. /Kabar/. The publishing house of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin presented for the first time its books at the 32nd Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF 2019) which opened on Sept.4. In total, representatives of 33 countries participate in the book forum.
As press service of the university reported, the participants and guests of the exhibition were welcomed by Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev. In his message he called MIBF-2019 the main literary event of autumn, a real holiday for all those who sincerely love books and intellectual communication.
Technical literature and books on the history of Kyrgyzstan were of particular interest to the guests of the exhibition. The focus of attention was on the Chyngyz Aitmatov. Universe Man and Eurasian Chronicles of N.M Przhevalsky monographs.
In total, three dozen books of the KRSU Publishing House, selected during the university competition were presented at the exhibition.
Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin is a university which is jointly operated by the Kyrgyz government and the Government of Russia, located in city of Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyzstan. The KRSU was established in 1992.
The KRSU publishing house occupies leading positions among book publishing institutions of Kyrgyzstan. Annually it publishes up to 100 books, as well as the Herald of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University magazine.
