Bishke, Sept.5, 2019. /Kabar/. As part of the digitalization of the work of state bodies, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Development officially has adopted the Labor Market Information System (LMIS), developed with the assistance of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), State Secretary of the ministry Kanybek Adiyev told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said the LMIS’s introduction will improve the quality of information about the labor market and public services to promote employment.
"The Labour Market Information System is a computer program for automating the work of city and district employment services departments. It will allow to switch to electronic document management for registration of the unemployed, vacancies, and employers, as well as to automate the ministry’s reporting at all its levels.
Information on vacancies and job seekers will be available to citizens through a web portal. This will help improve the efficiency of services provided by the employment services, as well as establish contacts between employers and job seekers," Adiyev said.
"In addition, Zanyatost.kg web portal has been developed, which hosts all vacancies in Kyrgyzstan, regulatory legal acts in the field of employment promotion, events, news and services, as well as a call-center on the LMIS in the Bishkek City Department of Employment Promotion, which currently supervises the entire country," said the State Secretary.
