President Mirziyoyev slams preparations for 2020 Olympics

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a videoconference slammed preparations for the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. The National Olympic Committee, Ministry of Physical Education and Sport were tasked to create conditions for athletes winning berths in the next few months.
Many athletes do not have information what medicines can be taken and which not, the President said.
None of sport federations has a laboratory for monitoring of preparation of athletes for championships and the process of their recovery.
The President demanded from line agencies to prepare a draft resolution on development of sport pharmacology and set up of comprehensive laboratories in sport federations.
