Preident Tokayev receives neurological surgeon awarded by Nazarbayev

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received neurological surgeon Serik Akshulakov, who was awarded a title of Hero of Labour by first president Nursultan Nazarbayev, Tokayev wrote on Twitter. The head of state during the talks was informed about the upcoming launch of the unique method - Gamma-knife - which will help in treatment of swellings, vascular and functional diseases of the brain.
Akshulakov is Kazakh neurosurgeon, professor, doctor of medical sciences, academician in the National Academy of Sciences, laureate of the State Prize in the field of science and technology, Hero of Labour.
