Lawmaker raises issues of Kyrgyz embassy in Turkey

AKIPRESS.COM - The issue of staff and salaries of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Turkey has not been raised since 2008, said MP Jyldyz Musabekova at the parliament committee meeting on Sept 10. "Previously, there were 2,000 migrants and now Turkey is on the second place after CIS countries on number of migrants. The embassy employees have very low wages comparing to other CIS countries. IT employee of Kyrgyz embassy in CIS countries receives more than Ambassador in Turkey," said Musabekova and wondered why the embassy staff in the country, which receives many migrants from Kyrgyzstan have low wages.
Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov replied that the issue would be considered.
