Kazakhstan can increase export of wheat to China by 3.5 times — Tokayev

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the meteing with the Chinese business circles in Beijing said that the country can increase export of wheat by 3.5 times up to 2 million tons, Akorda reported.
The head of state reminded that Kazakhstan enters the top 10 exporters of the high quality wheat in the world.
According to him, last year the country supplied 550,000 tons of wheat to China.
In addition, the President offered to increase export of the Kazakh salt to China up to 100,000 tons a year.
Kazakhstan also is ready to export milk products, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and flour to the Chinese market, Tokayev noted.
In his speech, the President said his country is interested in creation of modern innovative enterprises, technoparks and IT centers with the Chinese companies.
