Bishkek, Sept.11, 2019. /Kabar/. Chief of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces’ General Staff Rayimberdi Duishenbiev on Tuesday received Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan Alok Amitabh Dimri, the General Staff’s press service said.
The main topics of the meeting were intensification of cooperation of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan with the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of India and preparation for the upcoming trade and economic exposition Namaskar Eurasia, which will be held in Bishkek on Oct.9-11, 2019.
The General Staff chief noted Kyrgyzstan’s Armed Forces will take an active part in this exposition in terms of demonstration of products of the military-industrial complex of India.
Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and India covers a wide range of issues, including political, economic, cultural and military ones. Three Memorandums on the Establishment of Cooperation were signed this year:
- Between the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Defence Academy of the Republic of India;
- Between the National Guard of Kyrgyzstan’s Armed Forces and the National Security Guard of the Republic of India;
- Between the Combat Training Center of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces and the Military School of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of India.
