AKIPRESS.COM - Businessmen of Kazakhstan and China concluded an agreement on construction of a data center for $100 million in the city of Nur-Sultan, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported. According to the National Association of Blockchain, during the state visit to China, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Chinese partners on cooperation in IT sphere, electronic industry and data processing.
The data center will be managed by Kazakh company Powerry and the Chinese CETC International Co Ltd.
Powerry is a large operator specialized in construction and management of data centers on the territory of Kazakhstan. The company is also engaged in product design on the basis of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, tools for management of digital assets.
CETC International is one of the leaders in the information and electronic technology spheres, design and management of data centers, electronics and systems including the communication systems and data processing.
