General Staff begins preparations for Center 2019 strategic command and staff exercise

Bishkek, Sept.13, 2019. /Kabar/. On Sept. 6, 2019 the General Staff of Kyrgyzstan’s Armed Forces has begun preparations for Center 2019 strategic command and staff exercise.
According to the General Staff’s press service, the Center 2019 will be held on Sept. 16-21 at the Edelweiss training center of the Kyrgyz General Staff, and at the Dongus training ground in Orenburg Oblast, Russia.
As part of the preparation for the exercise with the staff of the command headquarters and the joint forces, training sessions are held on operational training, artillery, CBRN defense, communications, maintenance of weapons and military equipment, the deployment of a tent camp, and the equipment of the command post.
The Center 2019 strategic command and staff exercise will be held in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, with a total of more than 120 thousand servicemen, aircraft, armoured vehicles and armoured personnel trained in combating international terrorism.
