Opening ceremony of command center exercises "Center-2019" in Balykchi

The opening ceremony of "Center-2019" strategic command and staff exercise took place today in the Edelweiss training center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The head of the training, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Colonel Almazbek Karasartov, welcoming the participants of the training, noted that the joint training was dictated, first of all, by the relevance of creating an effective mechanism to counter the new challenges and risks that pose the greatest threat to national, regional and international security. "Therefore, the idea of ​​the exercise was based on one of the options for the development of the military-political situation in the Central Asian region, related to the desire of international terrorists, religious extremist organizations and other destructive forces to destabilize the situation using existing external and internal political problems, and implement in the future the creation of the Islamic state of the Caliphate," he said.
The purpose of the exercise is to study, research and generalize the issues of preparing and conducting a joint operation to destroy the armed formations of international terrorist organizations.
