Issyk-Kul residents export medical herbs to Germany

AKIPRESS.COM - Issyk-Kul residents began to export valerian to Germany, said the head of the "Issyk-Kul organics" cooperative Soonungul Jyltyrova. According to her, the valerian is grown on 20 hectares of land in the region and locals collect over 30 tons of plant annually.
"We grow medical herbs since 2010. The cost is 235 soms per kg. We also grow calendula and chamomile," she said.
