Group of Leilek residents gathers in Bishkek demanding to resolve border issue

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 15 citizens gathered today at the Gorgkiy square demanding to resolve problems on Kyrgyz-Tajik border. According to them, they are residents of villages of Leilek district.
Law enforcement officers did not let them hold a rally at the square. The citizens were sent to the Pervomay district.
Those gathered headed to the administration of the district, where they met with authorities of the district.
Deputy head of the district Mavlyan Askerbekov proposed to create an initiative group out of 5 people.
