PM Abilgaziyev visits injured in Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict

AKIPRESS.COM - The Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziev along with lawmakers visited those injured in Kyrgyz-Tajik border clashes in Leilek district hospital on Sept 17, government said. Prime Minister was informed about the condition of the injured citizens and wished recovery, as well as stressed that the state would provide them with all the necessary assistance and support.
Abilgaziyev provided family and relatives of injured with the financial aid on behalf government and briefed them on the measures conducted by government to resolve the border issue.
The shootout occurred on September 16 at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border area killing 1 Kyrgyz soldier and injuring 13 people, including 7 servicemen and 6 civilians of Kyrgyzstan. Two of them remain in serious condition. 11 people will be transported by military transport aircraft to Bishkek.
